THREE GENERATIONS OF MONACO'S ROYAL FAMILY ENJOY A DAY OUT

Prince Rainier of Monaco was joined by his daughter Princess Caroline and granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi this week at the Monte Carlo International Show Jumping competition.

It was definitely a family affair as the Monegasque monarch – who seemed well recovered from a period of recent illness – looked on at the event, surrounded by two more generations of the Grimaldi clan.

As Prince Rainier watched the show and had a chat with his equestrian granddaughter's trainer, stunning teenager Charlotte – seated nearby and wearing a baseball cap pulled low on her head – was enchanted with younger half-sister Alexandra.

Little Alexandra was seated comfortably on the lap of her mother Caroline, who cradled her young daughter as she enjoyed the show.

However, only time will tell if the four-year-old will grow up to be a horse aficionado like the other ladies in her family. During the event the youngster seemed more interested in showering kisses on her elegant mum than the show jumping.
