Prince Harry had a full agenda on Wednesday, spending time abseiling before donning a suit and heading off to a fundraising bash, where he was spotted mingling with a number of pretty ladies. But it wasn't just another adventurous day in the life of the young royal – both events were in the name of charity.

The 18-year-old Prince started off the day abseiling down a 200ft wall of St Bart's Hospital with 80 other volunteers in order raise money for the mental health organisation the Winfield Trust. And, though he's known for his love of sport, it seems Harry had an equally exciting evening at the post-event party at the Kensington Roof Gardens.

One witness said the red-haired heart-throb was "having a great time" and stayed at the party until the wee hours of the morning. "He kept taking to the dance floor with a string of girls," said an onlooker. "At one point he threw down his jacket, went over to a group of three young women and declared: 'So which one of you three lucky ladies wants to dance with me?'."

The Prince himself made it clear he had his mind on the matter at hand – philanthropy, that is. "I'm just here to help the charity," he told the Daily Mail. "And no, I don't have a date tonight."
