Prince Harry has been showing off his artistic side in a series of unusual photographs released to mark his forthcoming departure from Eton. The new pictures show the 18-year-old relaxing in his rooms, studying and taking part in a variety of school events.
In one pic the young Prince performs in the school's production of Much Ado About Nothing. Dressed in a flamboyant costume, complete with mask and fedora, he bore more than a passing resemblance to Antonio Banderas' character in the film Zorro.
Harry gave a well-received portrayal of Conrade in Shakespeare's famous comedy, and his talent as a thespian has not gone unnoticed.
He's also pictured with some of his paintings, and insiders say the young royal's talent may surprise the artistic community. The two pieces currently on display at the college suggest a preference for modern art and earthy colours.
In his cluttered study room we also get an insight into Harry's day-to-day life. Mario Testino's famous portrait of his mother, taken for the magazine Vanity Fair, is displayed prominently on his desk. And he keeps another picture of Diana on the noticeboard by his bed.
Prince Harry's time at Eton will come to an end when he sits his Art A-level on Thursday. It's expected that he will then take a year off before beginning a career in the military.
