It seems the Duchess of York's summer holidays have served her well, as she looked relaxed and stylish chatting with guests at a South Kensington Teenage Cancer Trust charity event.
The Duchess, who spent last month in Saint-Tropez and the Spanish resort of Sotogrande, donned a figure-flattering light top and black skirt for the event, spicing up her ensemble with one of the season's hottest trends – sassy white patterned pumps.
Sarah's monochromatic look echoed the outfit she wore for a special photo shoot earlier this month – a Sixties-style black and white mini-dress. The dramatic photographs showed the increasingly stylish 43-year-old in a whole new light, said a friend.
"If anyone had suggested Sarah would be a style icon they'd have been greeted with hoots of laughter," opined a pal. "Now she's an inspiration to any woman who wants to change her life for the better."
Other guests at Wednesday's Teenage Cancer Trust benefit included Trinny Woodall, and Ulrika Jonsson, accompanied by her new husband, Lance Gerrard Wright.
