Prince Andrew has found himself at the centre of attention once again, as talk of the new love in his life fills the press.
The 43-year-old prince has apparently been dating businesswoman Amanda Staveley for over a year. And according to royal sources, the 30-year-old blonde has already won the approval of both Prince Andrew's parents and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
Amanda has accompanied Andrew to functions at Balmoral and Windsor Castle, not to mention meeting the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of York first met the former model three years ago when he opened a business centre she developed in Cambridge. He was impressed with the young hotelier's business success and the two soon became friends.
In the last 12 months their relationship has become more serious, however, and the couple are now said to be "inseparable". Amanda often spends evenings at his Buckingham Palace apartment and they also meet up for alternate weekends at his Sunningdale mansion and her country home in the Yorkshire Dales.
Amanda, who made her first million at the age of 24, is the daughter of a wealthy Yorkshire landowner. Friends say she is an independent-minded woman and would not take a royal title were to marry the Prince.
