The Prince of Wales found himself on the receiving end of some glamorous female attention on Monday, as he hosted a charity dinner to promote breast cancer awareness. Actress Denise Van Outen and 'It' girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson both warmly embraced the heir to the throne, before supermodel Jodie Kidd kissed him on both cheeks.

Speaking after their meeting, Jodie explained that she already knew the future king from the polo field. "I know him more from when we are whacking into each other and screaming and shouting at each other so it's nice to meet him at a more formal event," she said. "Of course, we could talk about polo, polo, polo and bore everyone else."

But that's not the only thing Jodie and the Prince have in common. The 25-year-old catwalk star is also the official face of the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer, of which Charles is a patron. "It's really, really important to me for people to be aware of these terrible diseases and if my name, my face can help in any one of those then I'm very glad to help."

Other celebs who came along for the Clarence House reception included actor Joseph Fiennes and TV presenter Gaby Roslin.
