Prince William has been getting into the swing of things with an afternoon at the golf course. The 21-year-old was pictured taking golf lessons, and doing a spot of shopping, at his university town of St Andrews.
The young royal seems to share his uncle's passion for the driving range. But Wills says he's no match for Prince Andrew, though he's working on his handicap. Warning photographers that the ball "could go anywhere", he stepped up to take his first swing.
"As you can see, I haven't exactly learned from my uncle," he joked as the ball flew 150 yards. His next effort was slightly more impressive, prompting the Prince to say: "Tiger Woods, eat your heart out!".
He was also snapped at a local newsagent, picking up some household essentials. And William doesn’t seem to be too worried about healthy eating, as he bought several chocolate bars and a packet of crisps. Also in his basket was The Economist, to help him keep up with current events, and some motorcycle magazines.
His Christmas shopping isn't under control yet - Wills says he always leaves it until the last minute. And he's planning to get something special for younger brother Harry, who has been spending his gap year in Australia. "I'm looking forward to seeing him as he's coming back for Christmas," he said.
