The Prince of Wales stepped out with Camilla Parker Bowles to London's Peacock Theatre on Thursday, and it was Charles' companion in the spotlight as she took an opportunity to show her more colourful side.

Usually dressed in more neutral hues, Camilla was sporting a whole new look – and taking advantage of this season's jewel-tone trend – in an emerald velvet coat dress with turquoise sari silk lining and cuffs. The flattering ensemble was completed with a softer hairstyle, feminine peach makeup, a touch of lip gloss and pearl-drop earrings.

The Prince's official engagement marked the first time in several months that Charles and Camilla had been seen together in public. She attended the Shakespeare-themed event, which included performances from Richard III and A Midsummer Night's Dream by schoolchildren, in a personal capacity, while the Prince was there as part of his duties as president of the Arts & Kids Foundation.
