Sixteen-year-old Princess Beatrice set tongues wagging when she appeared at a sporting event accompanied by a mystery blonde over the weekend.
Sarah Ferguson's elder daughter looked very much at ease chatting to the young man sitting next to her during a match at the Stella Artois tennis championship at London's Queen's Club, and royal watchers were interested to know if this could be a romance.
However, it seems that 17-year-old James Green is a friend of some years' standing, not a boyfriend as such. There is talk that the young princess is dating a pupil at Eton, where her cousins Wills and Harry both studied.
The day after her trip to the tennis courts, Beatrice had another sporting day, enjoying a polo match at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor with both her parents, the Duke and Duchess of York.
