Denmark's Princess Mary has earned a reputation for her impeccable style choices and she didn't disappoint the fashion police when she stepped out in a series of elegant outfits over the weekend. The 33-year-old, whose first child is due to be born in less than three months, proved that being pregnant is no obstacle to looking good as she joined the country's top designers at the Copenhagen Fashion Fair.
The pretty Australian was sporting a trendy green velvet jacket with empire-line fastening and jeans when she made her entrance. She later swapped the garment for an oriental-style number with an eye-catching brooch as she and two companions arrived for local label Munthe Plus Simonsen's latest collection.
Mary also seemed intent on showing off her new fuller figure the following afternoon, revealing her bump with an empire-waisted blue top and floaty chiffon skirt. Given that her baby will one day become the country's monarch, it was to be expected that all eyes would be drawn to the princess' swelling tummy.
She wasn't the only style queen in attendance at the four-day event, though. Former supermodel Helena Christensen, who originally hails from the city, also went along to show her support. Now in its 25th year, Copenhagen Fashion Fair has grown to become one the largest such gatherings in Europe with some 800 designers taking part.
