Even on a chilly winter's day in Copenhagen, Denmark's popular Princess Alexandra never fails to brighten things up with her inimitable sense of style.
The ever-elegant divorcée, whose nine-year marriage to Prince Joachim ended last year, has based her wardrobe around chic charcoal and black, with vibrant splashes of red and pink, for her recent engagements.
Opening an art exhibition at a Copenhagen gallery this week, the mother-of-two was clad in a sober but sharply-cut skirt suit accessorised with a bright crimson hat. And when she attended a Denmark Against Landmines event at Christiansborg, the Danish Parliament buildings, she opted for a similar palette, this time with pink flowers providing the touch of colour in her outfit.
One of Alexandra's many humanitarian roles is as patroness of an anti-landmine effort, and as always, the petite brunette carried out the engagement with the friendliness and dedication that have made her so admired in her adopted country.
