Royalty led the way in the style stakes on Monday as Queen Rania of Jordan joined a host of Tinsletown stars for a cocktail bash and gala dinner in New York. The elegant mum-of-four was set to 'frill' in a romantic, floor-sweeping affair. And her choice of full-length gown was obviously the style du jour for the ladies, with a host of other glamorous guests opting for the same look.
A smiling Rania managed to make it to two events in the course of the evening, turning up to a Metropolitan Museum of Art bash and the Lincoln Center. She mingled happily with movers and shakers from the fashion, music and movie business at the Time magazine do at the Lincoln Center, including Jennifer Lopez who was showing off her curves in a long, strapless print affair, accessorised with lots of ethnic bangles.
David Bowie's wife Iman arrived at the swanky dinner in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a fitted black creation with a white train, while Dr Quinn star, Jane Seymour, posed in a pastel pink number with a delicate lace bodice.
Time magazine were celebrating their publication of the 100 most influential people, including Will Smith, Diddy and Ralph Lauren.
