The weather was less than accommodating, but Denmark's Princess Mary was determined to turn out in spring style for her friends' nuptials over the weekend. Arguably Europe's most fashion-savvy royal, the 34-year-old mother-of-one surprised onlookers with a uniquely elegant outfit when pals Annette and Thomas Olsen exchanged their vows on Saturday.
Tasmanian-born Mary made her appearance in an unusual chocolate-coloured top matched with a flowing white skirt, cinched at the waist with a trendy aquamarine stone-studded belt. To finish off the sophisticated look her dark mane of hair had been twisted into a neat chignon.
At her side was the princess' favourite accessory for every occasion - her handsome husband Frederik who cut quite a dash in a traditional black morning suit. After the couple arrived to join the festivities at Holckenhavn Castle in the central Danish town of Nyborg, Mary wasted no time in congratulating the radiant bride.
