The Duchess of Cornwall's radiant appearance didn't go unnoticed when she and her husband attended a concert in Norfolk this week. With a glowing tan and her face wreathed in smiles, Prince Charles' wife was very much a woman in bloom as she arrived for the event in an elegant floral print dress.
And the blossoming royal soon had plenty of real flowers to go with her frock, as she was presented with several bouquets by the crowd gathered outside Hunstanton church. The well-wishers also gave their VIP guest, who was accompanying her husband to a classical recital organised by the Music In Country Churches association, a number of gifts including a framed portrait of herself.
Charles was no doubt pleased to see his wife on such good form after the painful loss of her father just last month. The Duchess was forced to cancel several engagements in June, but in recent weeks she has made a series of public appearances. She was in visibly positive spirits when she attended a tree planting ceremony near Highgrove last week and onlookers noticed the 59-year-old seemed equally upbeat at the Bowood Dog Show on Saturday.
