The Duchess of York could soon be showing off her salsa and samba in front of an audience of millions after being asked to appear on American talent show Dancing With The Stars. If she takes up the challenge the mum-of-two may end up competing against former Wimbledon tennis ace Chris Evert, who is also believed to be in talks with the hit programme.
Prince Andrew's ex-wife, who apparently developed a taste for tango on a visit to Argentina, has publicly declared she is a fan of the show -presented by Brit beauty Cat Deeley - which was inspired by the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
"Fergie will add a touch of class to the proceedings and the fans will be waiting to see if she falls for her dance partner," says producer Conrad Green. "We like having a mixture, and we've not had a duchess," he added.
The 47-year-old red-head, who is a well-known figure in US society circles, is busier than ever. In addition to her work as an author of children's books, she has now launched her very own scented candle range. Fergie has apparently collaborated with New York emporium Slatkin & Co on a range of tea-inspired candles called Dignity, Honesty, Loyalty Royalty and Tranquility.
