The Duchess of Corwall was given a helping hand with her festive decorations this week when she was joined by a group of youngsters from the Shooting Star House Children's Hospice, and a Welsh Guard in full military regalia.
Camilla, who together with Prince Charles had opened the west London hospice - which relies totally on public donations - earlier this year, invited the excited kids to London's Clarence House to decorate the royal spruce. The mum-of-two helped them select brightly coloured ornaments to hang on the branches and then rewarded them for their hard work with a tea party.
The brave youngsters, who suffer from life-limiting conditions, were also no doubt delighted to find Welsh Guard Captain Henry Willcocks -temporary equerry to Camilla and her husband - taking part in the fun task. "Without a doubt this will make their Christmas," said hospice executive Dalton Leong.
