Demonstrating a poise and composure way beyond her 11 years, Princess Iman of Jordan was given a valuable insight into far-a field royal duties this month when she made her first high-profile trip to China.
Accompanying the glamorous Queen Rania, who was jetting out to the Far-East in her capacity as UNICEF's first ever eminent advocate for children, the eager youngster was given the opportunity to see for herself the work that her beautiful mother is so passionate about.
Newly released pictures show that the eldest daughter of the King and Queen of Jordan seems keen to emulate her mother's enthusiasm and dedication to her duties. And the bespectacled princess is obviously taking her role seriously. Her face a picture of concentration as she enjoys afternoon Chinese tea in Beijing, little Iman has obviously been picking up tips from the queen - who is as famed for her work with social and educational reform as she is for her stunning good looks.
The royal pair headed east to Beijing to get a first hand glimpse at the situation of migrant women and children, and it would appear that Iman, despite her tender years, is well and truly set on the path the follow in her mothers philanthropic footsteps.
