There was colour, dance and music in spades as Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall marked the Hindu festival of Holi, which celebrates the arrival of spring and the beauty associated with spring blossoms and the colour they bring.
The royal couple made a special trip to the Swaminarayan School in north-west London, where they visited the adjoining temple to watch school children enact a festival tradition in which participants throw coloured powder and water at each other.
