After tying the knot at a civil wedding in Paris on March 19th, French royal Prince Jean d'Orleans and his Spanish wife Philomena of Tornos and Steinhart will walk down the aisle again in a special ceremony in the beautiful Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame de Senlis in northern France on May 2.

Jean, the son of the count of Paris, Enrique d'Orleans and the duchess of Montpensier, will celebrate his union with Philomena at 11am to the sounds of a choir performing a selection of German, Austrian and Spanish music from the 17th century through to the present day.

The happy couple will then toast the occassion with their guests in the gardens of the castle chateau d'Hugues Capet.

The multi lingual pair will then head to a reception at the historical chateau de Chantilly in the town - owned by the groom's family until 1897 and now looked after by the Institut de France.

France-raised company executive Philomena, whose grandfather worked as the private secretary for Spanish King Juan Carlos' father during his Portugal exile, and her consultant husband initially wed at a civil wedding in Paris presided over by the district's mayor, Rachida Dati, formerly France's justice minister
