While Prince Harry has been stepping up his romance with Sky TV presenter Caroline Flack, there's been no sitting around and moping for his former love Chelsy Davy. The trainee solicitor looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself on a night out in London with pals this week.
Something had clearly tickled South Africa-born Chelsy as she arrived to see a charity performance of recently opened West End musical Sister Act. And not even the arrival of Kate Middleton's friend Astrid Harbord - one of the girls Harry has been linked to in the past – could dampen her sunny mood.
How the glamorous blonde now feels about her royal ex, from whom she split five months ago, is unknown. She's been playing the dating game herself, though, and has been photographed with Dan Philipson, a 33-year-old property boss.
However, she's due to meet up with Harry at a party in aid of his Sentebale charity on Friday, and pals say she's really looking forward to it.
"Chelsy is hoping to spend some quality time with Harry. It will be the first time they have caught up in a while," says a source. "Chelsy has said Dan might be a rebound and she still cares a lot for Harry. She has confided that she wants him back but she gets the impression Harry has moved on."
Joining Chelsy to see the musical version of the hit film were Princess Beatrice, accompanied by her American boyfriend Dave Clark, and Kate's sister Pippa Middleton.
