Upon coming face to face with a prince, most little boys would be somewhat awestruck. Not so six-year-old Alex Burke, whose first reaction to meeting Prince Harry was to check he was a real life royal. "Are you sure you are Prince Harry?" inquired the puzzled youngster, who was attending a charity awards ceremony. "Where's your crown?"And just to make sure he identified the guest of honour correctly he added: "So you're not William then?"If he was taken aback by the questioning, Prince Harry didn’t show it. Scooping the boy up in his arms he laughed replying: "I'm sorry, you'll have to put up with me. "Lively Alex was bubbly in more ways than one at the WellChild Children's Health Awards, where he accepted the award for bravest child between the ages of two to five.He blew bubbles as he accepted his trophy, while his proud mum Sarah looked on. "The only kind of princes Alex knows about are the ones in stories who wear cloaks and crowns," she said. "I have been showing him pictures of Harry and his brother, trying to explain who they are but he couldn’t understand why he wasn’t wearing his crown. I just told him that he wasn’t allowed it take it out with him. "Among the other brave children honoured at the London bash was eight-year-old Lucy Tutton from Bristol who presented the prince with a flower made from balloons. "Oh wow I felt like a princess," she exclaimed afterwards.

Harrison Holmes, also eight, gave Harry another reminder of his elder sibling – a framed photograph of William whom he met during a WellChild trip to the Lake District.Making Harry promise to pass it on, Harrison, who refers to William as the Prince of Cuddles, told Harry his big brother had promised to come and visit him at his house. "Oh, he is so sweet," said Prince Charles' second son. "I will definitely remind him of his promise."
