Her future may see her one day become queen. But Kate Middleton was focused solely on her past when she gave a glimpse into her childhood recently with a series of memories posted on her parents' website.
While the blog has since been removed from Party Pieces - where Kate works - viewers had been able to get an insight into the private 28-year-old as she shared a number of recollections, including how she loved to dress up as a clown when she was younger.
And she revealed that as a child her favourite game was musical statues since she has "always been a keen dancer."
Continuing the theme of the entry, Prince William's girlfriend was asked what she thought made a good party bag. "Anything that Mummy would normally never allow me to have," she replied.
"They were always such a treat." Kate went on to recommend a "cooking party" for girls with cookies and cakes, and a "camping party" for boys, which she describes as "a great way to get Daddies involved."
The Reading-born brunette also recalled her best party memory – "an amazing white rabbit marshmallow cake that Mummy made when I was seven" – and also confessed she had a "cake disaster" when she forgot to add self-raising flour during her brother James' birthday.
Party Pieces was founded by mum Carole Middleton in 1997, and prior to taking up her role there, Kate worked as a junior accessories buyer at Jigsaw.
