With two very high-profile royal figures in the audience, the dancers must have been nervous.Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Alba, one of the country's best-known aristocrats, were treated to a fiery flamenco dance show in Seville.Sitting in the front row, the royal ladies looked on as the dancers performed the traditional Andalusian music and dance moves.
Their visit to Seville marked the end of Prince Charles and Camilla's official three-day trip to Spain. And despite only being in the Andalusian capital for five fours, the royal couple packed in a great deal.Upon their arrival at the San Telmo palace, they were greeted by regional president Jose Antonio Griñan Martinez who took Charles for a private meeting to discuss Andalusia's Three Cultures Foundation.Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall toured the presidential palace's baroque chapel, venturing to the top of the altar and waving through a glass window at the photographers and staff below. As her husband arrived, she told him: "This is a fabulous place. I'm very lucky I've had a very good tour. "The couple caused quite a stir with the locals as they rode by tram to the city hall, where they met the mayor of Seville.
In temperatures reaching 30 degrees, the heir to the British throne, 62, and his wife, 63, later visited the city's Gothic cathedral and the Alcazar palace, which was originally a Moorish fort.
The three-day-visit to Spain is part of a ten-day-tour which will now take them to Portugal and Morocco.
