Relaxed, happy and buzzing with good vibes – Prince Albert and his new wife Princess Charlene seem thrilled with married life.Their South Africa honeymoon has clearly done them the world of good.
And after putting rumours about their relationship to rest, the pair are moving on to the next chapter. The newlyweds were on sunny form this week as they dropped in on an exhibition about their wedding in Monaco. Holding hands and sharing loving glances as they looked around, the pair thoroughly enjoyed reliving the memories of the big day.The couple's loved-up appearance came the day after they had summoned news agency reps to address rumours about the state of their relationship. The meeting took place just hours after the couple had returned to Monaco.
"We want to express our outrage about these rumours. It's unbearable," said Albert – as reported in Nice-Matin, one of the publications at the meeting. "What is regrettable is that the media seized on these rumours without verifying their information," continued the 53-year-old. "I find it unworthy of your colleagues. I have always respected the freedom of expression. "But the dissemination of false information is lamentable and subject to criminal penalties." The prince was described as looking "visibly wounded" by the French publication. He did have some fond memories to share of the couple's honeymoon though. The Monegasque royal described it as "a wonderful stay," adding: "We were not disturbed. There was a dreamy atmosphere."
