Charlene shows caring touch at humanitarian event with new husband

October 12, 2011

She said in an interview recently that she liked being independent. And despite indicating she needs "time to adjust" to her new role, Princess Charlene of Monaco continues to carry out her official engagements in the principality with aplomb.

She was accompanied by her loving husband, Prince Albert at the Monaco Humanitary Group Presentation in Monte-Carlo. Europe's newest princess, who was classically elegant in an LBD, was offered a beautiful bouquet of flowers by a young girl.

The little one looked a little overwhelmed by her royal encounter.

But showing her caring touch, Charlene made sure she didn't feel out of place, sweeping her up in her arms for a reassuring cuddle.
