Pippa takes a leaf out of Kate's book for winter wedding style

December 12, 2011

Pippa Middleton showed off her inimitable wedding guest style once again when she witnessed the romantic candlelit nuptials of some university friends at the weekend. The bridesmaid of the year looked thrilled to be sharing in Georgina Hewlett and the Honourable Benjamin Fitzherbert's big day at a church in Melton, Suffolk. She joined other friends in waving off the happy couple as they set out from the service in a vintage car.

Eagle-eyed observers would have noticed that her elegant outfit was similar to the one her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore to charm the public on her first ever engagement with Prince William. Attending her seventh wedding of the year, Pippa was in a cream wool coat with velvet detail by one of Kate's favourite designers, Katherine Hooker. The finishing touches were custom made suede accessories by London accessories label Emmy Shoes and a satin fascinator Following her split from financier Alex Loudon, the 27-year-old arrived without a date. Not that she appeared to mind. In fact, it was a chance for her to catch up with another old flame – banking heir 'JJ' Jardine-Paterson, whom she romanced for three years.

According to The Mirror, the pair were seen enjoyed an intimate meal in a private dining area in a restaurant in the Crown Hotel in Suffolk. And wedding season apparently isn't over for Pippa. The pretty party planner was one of the guests at an engagement do for Richard Branson's daughter Holly, which was attended by most of the young royal set.So it's expected that she'll wish her well when Holly ties the the knot with her shipbroker fiancé Fred Andrews at the family's private reteat Necker Island later this month.
