They were there to watch the sporting action on court, but Prince Charles and Sir Bruce Forsyth looked like they were enjoying each other's company just as much when they met at Wimbledon. Both were joined by their respective partners the Duchess of Cornwall and former Miss Puerto Rico, Wilnelia-Merced Forsyth.
The foursome laughed and joked in the royal box as they watched the second round match between Roger Federer and Fabio Fognini. Veteran performer Bruce will have been keen to keep up the royal connection. In November last year, he was knighted by the Queen. For Charles, the match was also significant – he hadn't visited the hallowed turf of SW19 since 1970. Despite his lengthy absence, a "thrilled" Camilla took her seat to watch the famous championships last year.
It was the first time she had been a guest in Centre Court's royal box. This year, both royals are showing their support – and they certainly made an impression. Chairman Philip Brook described meeting the Duchess as a "lot of fun", while both players on court bowed in front of the royal couple before battling it out in a match which saw Swiss ace Roger claim victory.
