One is the offspring of rock royalty, while the other is the real thing. But a passionate love of horses has brought together the unlikely pairing of Jessica Springsteen - daughter of guitar icon Bruce - and Monegasque royal Charlotte Casiraghi. Both ladies are accomplished riders, so when the pretty pair met up at the prestigious Vienna Masters Global Tour, there were smiles all round.
Jessica, 20, is a US international showjumper, and recently bought British rider Peter Charles' horse Murka's Vindicat W, who galloped to gold at London 2012. The purchase made by the daughter of the 'The Boss', who is currently wowing fans around the world with a string of recent concerts, shows just how seriously she takes her showjumping.
Jessica started riding at age five and although she missed the cut for the US Olympic equestrian team for London, she now has a second chance to compete, as she hopes to ride her new purchase all the way to Rio.Meanwhile, Charlotte, 26, is just as well known on the international equestrian circuit. Earlier this year she took part in the Monte Carlo leg of the Global Champions tournament, competing in the amateur section with her 12-year-old stallion, Carryduff Z.
