Wearing a glorious green Elie Saab gown and the glow of a newlywed, Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg outshown her fellow Euopean princesses on her debut as Prince Guillaume's wife.Following their joyous civil ceremony in the heart of Luxembourg the future Grand Duke and Duchess welcomed royals from around the world to toast their union at a lavish gala dinner.
Stephanie marked her official arrival in the Luxembourg royal circle by topping her golden locks with a floral tiara that is a family heirloom.As she and her husband greeted their many guests, 28-year-old Stephanie showed off the beautiful backless creation.Leading the way in the guest fashion stakes were the ever glamorous Maxima of the Netherlands and Mette Marit of Norway, who were out in full force to support Europe's newest princess.
Argentinian-born Maxima and her husband Willem-Alexander were amongst the first to arrive at the romantically lit Grand Ducal Palace.
And the mother-of-three certainly wowed in a strapless burgundy and silver number, accessorised with a deep red stole, matching clutch bag and a glittering tiara.Following close behind was Mette Marit with her strapping husband, Prince Haakon, by her side.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex made a grand entrance together, with Sophie also accesorising her green wrap dress with a tiara and statement jewels.Once inside Grand Duke Henri gave a heart-felt speech to his son and new daughter-in-law saying he and his wife, Maria Teresa are "happy and proud" that the couple are "embarking on this journey together through life.
