The Cambridge synergy has returned, and Kate Middleton will have Prince William back by her side for the next round of engagements in her diary. On Friday it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit the offices of Child Bereavement UK on 19 March. The Prince has been patron of the charity, which helps families rebuild their lives after losing a child, since 2009.Chief executive Ann Chalmers said: "We are honoured that The Duke and Duchess are making a visit to our charity offices in Buckinghamshire where they will see first-hand some of the groups we run with bereaved children, young people and parents".
It will be an emotional day for William and Kate, given that they will become parents themselves when the royal baby is born in July. This week, Kate heightened anticipation for the birth when she seemed to be about to say the word "daughter" during a walk about in Grimsby. Her revelation came as she accepted a gift of a teddy bear from a wellwisher. Two days before their visit to Child Bereavement UK, William and Kate will attend a St. Patrick's Day parade at Mons Barracks, Aldershot on March 17th. The couple will hand out Shamrocks to members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guard.Their dashing red uniform is more familiar than their regiment: it's the same one that William wore when he wed Kate in 2011.
The Duchess herself has fond memories of Aldershot; it was there she carried out her first solo military engagement in 2012. She earned glowing reviews from the soldiers, with one saying: "She did brilliantly, she was perfect".The Cambridges' Midas touch will also be in action on 14 March; Kate's charity Action on Addiction is joining forces with 100 women in hedge funds, where William is patron, for a glamorous fundraiser at Jimmy Choo.
