Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie join the Queen for Easter service in Windsor

The Queen was joined by members of the British royal family at Windsor Castle for the annual Easter Sunday service. The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie turned out at St George's Chapel in the grounds of the Berkshire castle.Queen Elizabeth II wore a pale pink outfit and hat which were visible as she walked in the spring sunlight.

 Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie also embraced the fair weather choosing not to wear dark tights with their outfits. Beatrice, 24, chose a teal outfit and mustard hat, which was topped with a feather to match her coat while Eugenie, 23, sported a cream hat and dress under a black coat.Britain's monarch arrived at the chapel by car for the traditional Matins service conducted by the Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner. Taking advantage of the bright weather, well-wishers gathered in Windsor to catch a glimpse of the royal family as they made their way to the chapel.

 Sophie, Countess of Wessex chose a cobalt coat with an unusual collar and sported a matching hat with peacock feather on top of her intricate hairstyle. Sophie's daughter, the Queen's grandaughter, Lady Louise sported a green with a black collar and buttons and wore her blonde hair in a half ponytail.Louise's father, Prince Edward, also joined the royal party as did his brother Prince Andrew. The occasion was the Queen's second Easter appearance this year having attended a Maundy Thursday service in Oxfordshire last week. The Queen, 86, fulfilled her annual duty of distributing money to elderly people at Christ Church Catherral in Oxford. Accompanied by Prince Philip, the monarch kept the icy chill at bay in a vibrant blue cashmere coat by Angela Kelly and topped off her outfit with a spectacular feathered hat.
