As a creative consultant for the brand, Samantha carried a chic purple Smythson folder.
As Samantha was busy representing the company she has worked for for more than 17 years, Prime Minister David Cameron was in Brussels for the EU Summit.
Later on Thursday Samantha swapped her day wear for a more glamorous evening gown.
