"So I went to see Beyoncé... Michelle Obama and the girls were right below me! Secret Service agents all around!" posted one fan, Frida Lay, sharing a photo of the First Lady and her daughters.

Michelle looked chic in an emerald green dress with a black, gold-studded belt, while her eldest daughter Malia dressed casually in a white t-shirt and denim skirt.

As big Beyoncé fans, this is not the first time the Obama girls have attended the pop star's concerts. They previously showed their support for Beyoncé in her Atlantic City performance last year, and Michelle has said how she admires the singer's talent. "Gosh, if I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé," said Michelle. "I'd be some great singer."

President Barack Obama did not join his family for the night, but is an equally big fan of the legendary pop star. "Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls," said Barack, speaking at a fundraising event that the singer and her husband Jay-Z had held for the president's re-election. Beyoncé was also chosen to sing the national anthem at Barack's inauguration.

"We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are," said Barack, referring to his close friendship with Jay-Z. "So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's OK."Beyoncé is currently travelling around the world, promoting the Mrs Carter Show World Tour, and is about to set off to Canada for the next leg of her trip.
