Kate Middleton was known for her elegant maternity style and so she is bound to follow suit with a stylish outfit as she leaves St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, after giving birth a baby boy.One of the most iconic images was that of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana of Wales leaving the very same hospital in June 1982 cradling a newborn Prince William. She wore a smock-style, pastel green polka dot dress that won universal praise and cemented her status as a fashion icon.

Kate's former stylist Nikki Pennie, who is widely credited with helping Kate to develop her elegant sense of style, predicts it will be "something comfortable, low-key, conservative, and appropriate," she told E! News. "I'm pretty sure it will be a dress and maybe a jacket...She loves wrap dresses, empire waists, and V-necks dresses. "Nikki thinks Kate will shun anything loose-fitting, believing that she will prefer "a figure-hugging number that's still very streamline and elegant." As far as the designer of the outfit is concerned, Nikki is certain that Kate will stay close to home. "It's definitely going to be a British designer, she said. "It could be Topshop, Issa or Alexander McQueen. "Kate is known for her thrifty sartorial ways, often choosing to recycle outfits. But considering how momentous this particular appearance will be — and how iconic it is set to become — HELLO! Online predicts the Duchess will be sporting a new creation possibly by Alice Temperlery or Issa. We also predict that it will be a dress in a block, neutral colour, in keeping with Kate's typically subtle style.

As for footwear, our bets are on her trusty LK Bennett nude wedges that go with almost anything. Hair will, no doubt, be coiffed to perfection. What do you think Kate will wear to leave the hospital? Leave your comments in the box below.
