HELLO! souvenir edition gets royal seal of approval from Uncle Harry

July 26, 2013

HELLO! magazine's special souvenir edition to celebrate the birth of Prince George has had the royal seal of approval from the little boy's proud uncle, Prince Harry.

The charming 28-year-old was given a sneak peek at the latest issue of HELLO! by editor Rosie Nixon as he attended the Sentebale 'Stories of Hope' photograph exhibition at the Getty Gallery — and he looked absolutely delighted with the result.

The celebratory issue — number 1288 — is on sale now featuring stunning new photographs of the new Cambridge family, and unrivalled coverage of the Prince's arrival into the world.

On Thursday, Harry visited the central London 'Stories of Hope' exhibition, which features a series of touching images taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson.

The photographs capture the hard work that goes on at Sentebale to improve the lives of the vulnerable children of Lesotho.

Sentebale is a cause very close to Harry's heart — he founded the charity with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2007 after visiting the country on his gap year and being compelled to help vulnerable children who are often victims of poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

They came up with the name Sentebale, which means 'forget-me-not' in Sesotho, the language of Lesotho.

While Harry was no doubt delighted to celebrate the charity's incredible work, the arrival of Prince George was also on his mind.

Joking that he hoped his brother Prince William knew "how expensive my baby sitting charges are", he vowed to teach his nephew to have fun as he attended the private viewing.

"When I saw him he was crying, which is just like all babies," he said of his first meeting with the newborn Prince. "It's fantastic to have another addition to the family.

I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are! "Asked what kind of an uncle he wanted to be, besotted Harry replied, "to make sure he has a good upbringing and to keep him out of harm's way and to make sure he has fun. The rest I'll leave to the parents!"Pick up your copy of special souvenir edition of HELLO! magazine now.
