Confirmed: Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo to marry on 31 August

August 7, 2013

Princess Caroline of Monaco's son Andrea Casiraghi and his fiancée Tatiana Santo Domingo are to marry on 31 August. The wedding invitations have been sent out and the couple will marry at the end of the month. No further details have been revealed, HELLO! Online's sister webiste hola.com has confirmed.

Caroline revealed that a Monegasque wedding was on the horizon back in July, when she confirmed that Andrea and Tatiana were engaged.

Andrea and Tatiana's wedding is set to be 2013's royal wedding of the year, and although Andrea does not hold a royal title, it has been rumoured that the wedding might take place inside the Palace.

Other sources report that the couple might tie the knot in an intimate wedding, and days later celebrate with family and friends in Monaco.

Andrea, who is the son of Princess Caroline and her late husband Stefano Casiraghi, has been engaged to Tatiana, 29, for a year and the pair have been together for eight.

They welcomed their first child on 31 March, when Tatiana gave birth to a baby boy named Sacha at London's Portland Hospital.Given the impressive pedigree shared by the Monegasque golden boy – who is second in line to the throne – and society beauty Tatiana, glamour and high-profile guests will certainly feature at their nuptials. The bride-to-be, who met her fiancé through his sister Charlotte Casiraghi when the two young women attended the same school in Fontainebleau, near Paris, hails from one of Colombia's wealthiest families.

The granddaughter of the late mega-mogul Julio Santo Domingo, Tatiana is set to inherit an estimated $6bn fortune which she will share with her younger brother Julio Mario Santo Domingo III.It may be her brother who walks her down the aisle, since their father sadly passed away in 2009 after losing his battle with cancer.

Given that Tatiana founded ethical fashion line The Muzungu Sisters, many of her fashionista friends – including heiress Margherita Missoni – are likely to be on the guest list at the wedding, rubbing shoulders with Monaco's first family.
