Queen Maxima and Princess Victoria cut stylish duo at Stockholm royal lunch

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden cut a stylish duo as they attended a lunch at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on Monday. Victoria wore looked chic in a royal blue textured form-fitting dress with statement silver jewellery and blue patent heels.

Queen Maxima opted for a nude blouse with an oversized bow, chocolate coloured skirt and crushed velvet shoes. The two elegant European royals were joined by their husbands King Williem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Prince Daniel of Sweden at the lunch.

Victoria's parents King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were also present. Victoria and Daniel, who became parents to Princess Estelle last February, were on a one-day visit to Sweden. The last time that the two young couples were together was in April when Willem-Alexander became King of the Netherlands following his mother Queen Beatrix's abdication.

The Swedish royal family are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Princess Madeleine and Chris O'Neill's first baby who is due at the start of March next year.
