With the renovation of their apartments in Kensington Palace and their country home Anmer Hall, Prince William and Kate Middleton's new life as parents is coming together. Now another aspect has fallen into place: they recently took possession of a new Bentley supercar.

The 'Flying Spur' boasts a luxury interior with handcrafted walnut, a champagne cooler, Wi-Fi connection and, according to reports, quilted leather seats that heat up and have a massage function.
© Photo: RexMost importantly for the royals, the vehicle has added safety features. These consist of triple glazed, bullet-proof windows with 1.5inch glass, hardened steel armour and tyres that won't deflate even when punctured.
Vulnerable areas such as the engine, radiator and fuel tank also have extra protection.
Bentleys are the holders of royal warrants from the Queen and Prince Charles. The company supplied the monarch with a limousine for her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
The new car belongs to a fleet, which includes Range Rovers like the one the couple used to drive away from hospital after George's birth and a Jaguar - all of which are shared with Prince Harry.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "The Bentley is being leased by the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry for official engagements, which is no different to any other member of the Royal family."
In the summer William announced that he was giving up life as a search and rescue pilot to take on full-time royal duties. Meanwhile, Kate has stepped up her outings since her son was born in July. This means that the car will now get a lot of use.
The cost of running it will be met by the Duchy of Cornwall which covers the expenses of William's father, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Cambridges themselves and Prince Harry.
Members of the public will have to wait another six months to get their hands on the Flying Spur. The royal couple were given one of the first ones off the production line.
