Prince George takes starring role in William and Kate's thank you cards

January 28, 2014

He's not even turned one, but Prince George already has impeccable manners - thanks to his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton. The royal couple have given the little Prince a starring role in the thank you cards they have sent out to those who sent Christmas wishes. The card includes a message which reads: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George are so grateful to you for the kind message you sent at christmas and send you their best wishes for a very Happy New Year."

On the front is a photo of the couple with their son that was taken on his Christening day. George, who was then three months old, throws his arms wide as he sits on his mums knee in one of the official snaps which was released to mark the happy occasion. The cute card - the couple's first to include George - will no doubt be a treasured memento for royal fans. The little Prince has not been seen in public since his 23 October Christening - that being only the third time he was photographed by press photographers since his birth.

He made his debut at one day old being carried out of the hospital in his mother's arms, and his second photo opportunity came a few hours later when he was taken out in a car seat by his father, who put him in the back of his Range Rover. In addition, William and Kate have released two rounds of official photos - London-born photographer Jason Bell's pictures from the Christening and an earlier set taken by the Duchess' father Michael in the Middleton family home in Buckleberry. Royal fans are eager to see seven-month-old George again, and are hoping the couple will be happy to show him off when they travel to New Zealand and Australia in March.
