The British royal, who has been living stateside since the summer of last year, is said to be enjoying her job as a benefit auctions manager at auction house Paddle8.

While Eugenie was only meant to stay for a three-month placement, the granddaughter of the Queen landed a permanent role at Christmas after impressing her bosses.

Based in a stylish apartment in the trendy Meatpacking district, Eugenie is said to be "making the most" of her time in New York. She is no doubt missing her friends and family though, especially boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, who visited Eugenie in October.

Despite the 3,500 miles between them, the couple's relationship is going from strength-to-strength with Jack saying that they spend a lot of time on Skype together. Princess Eugenie also flies back and forth to London for important occasions.

Eugenie could soon be back in Britain though as her boss Alexander Gilkes revealed that Paddle8 would be opening an office in London in 2014."One of our investors is Damien Hirst and his businessman is helping us," Alexander told The Telegraph. "Jay Jopling is another investor who is offering us extra office support when we need it. "Eugenie has a degree in Art History and English Literature from Newcastle University.
