Sarah, Duchess of York has shown off her new slender figure on a trip to New York, where she is likely to be visiting her daughter, Princess Eugenie.
The Duchess of York, who has reportedly lost more than two stone thanks to a three-month bootcamp in the Swiss Alps, was looking noticeably slimmer than usual in a crisp white shirt with an open collar, black skirt, tights and pumps. The 54-year-old was clearly delighted to be lapping up the sunshine in the Big Apple, smiling broadly as she strolled through the city.
Her trademark red locks were worn loose, with small gold hoop earrings to finish the chic daytime look.
The Duchess revealed back in December that she had lost up to 30lbs (just over two stone): "I went up to the mountains, and I ran every day. That’s how I got fit. I may have lost 30lb, but I want to help combat global obesity." Princess Eugenie, 23, has been living Stateside since the summer of last year and is said to be enjoying her job as a benefit auctions manager at auction house Paddle8.
While the British royal was only meant to stay for a three-month placement, she landed a permanent role at Christmas after impressing her bosses. And the Queen's granddaughter has been making the most of being in the Big Apple, rapidly becoming a regular on the city's vibrant social scene. Earlier this month, she hit the front row at Nonoo's Fall 2014 New York Fashion Week show where she was joined by Katherine Keating, whose father is Australia's former Prime Minister Paul Keating.
