Sophie, Countess of Wessex ditched her usual business attire on Tuesday to get stuck into a game of hockey while visiting the England team at Bisham Abbey in Marlow, England. Sophie Rhys-Jones – who is married to Prince Edward – was seen wearing a black blazer jacket with cropped trousers and a casual trainers on her feet as she ran around on the AstroTurf.The royal pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail and accessorised with small drop earrings and a watch to get active with the club members. She couldn’t help but smile as she tried to keep up with another female on the pitch, showing just how fit she has kept aged 49.

Before displaying her sports skills, Sophie showed off her red Investec-sponsored shirt with ‘Wessex 1’ printed on the back, staying wrapped up from the mild weather in a blue coat and wearing black pointy toe Bruce Oldfield heels which she later tossed to the side on a wooden bench. While talking to the team the mother of two children, The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, held on to a small clutch bag, and looked very regal.
On Monday, her spouse’s 50th birthday, she was spotted with the Queen arriving at Westminster Abbey for the Observance of Commonwealth Day service. The reigning monarch was accompanied by her husband Prince Philip and the royal couple were greeted warmly at the entrance by the Dean of Westminster John Hall and Sub-Dean and Archdeacon Jane Hedges. Before the start of the service, the Queen broke the flag in a traditional ritual.

First-in-line to the throne Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were also spotted arriving for the service. The Duchess looked elegant in a cream dress and coat and accessorised with a three-strand pearl necklace and feathered fascinator.
