Avid equestrian Zara Phillips enjoyed her first public outing without her new baby Mia on Tuesday, heading to the Cheltenham races with husband Mike Tindall. The new mum appeared to be having a jolly old time on the first day of Cheltenham Festival, looking relaxed and happy as she socialised with friends and her hubby away from her seven-week-old baby.
Dressed in a glamorous cream coat, feathered hat, black tights and ankle boots, the 32-year-old royal was as sophisticated as ever not long after welcoming her first child into the world.Oversized sunglasses, a black clutch bag and a pair of diamond studs completed the royal’s elegant look while her rugby ace husband was dapper in a smart grey suit, blue shirt and red and white patterned tie.Becoming a mum hasn't held Zara back from being a regular on England's racing scene. When Mia was just one month old she made her public debut at the Barbury point-to-point races in Wiltshire, where two of her mother’s horses were competing.
The couple recently introduced their beautiful baby daughter to the world with a spread of pictures in HELLO! "We did it because people wanted it," Mike told ITV's News at 10 about the couple's decision to share the photos. "We had control over it. We had those photos done anyway, it was more because people seemed to want it rather than anything else. "Zara gave birth to the Queen's fourth great-grandchild and the 16th in line to the throne on the morning of 17 January at an NHS hospital in Gloucestershire. Mia weighed 7lbs 12oz (3.5 kg).
