Sarah, Duchess of York and her daughter Princess Eugenie looked overjoyed to be reunited in New York ahead of Mother’s Day this week.
A glam outing was on the cards for the mother-daughter team, who attended the Gavel & Grand Benefit Auction at the Big Apple’s upmarket Bowery Hotel.
Eugenie - who turned 24 last week- looked chic in a long-sleeved grey dress paired with silver jewellery while her mum picked a simple black dress to showed off the results of her recent weight loss - Sarah has lost three stone.
The event helped raise funds for several charities and also gave Eugenie a chance to introduce her mum to her world of work. Attending the charity bash were several of Eugenie’s colleagues from online auction house Paddle8, where she has been working as a benefit auctions manager since moving Stateside last summer.
While Eugenie was only meant to stay for a three-month placement, the granddaughter of the Queen landed a permanent role at Christmas after impressing her bosses.
Based in a stylish apartment in the trendy Meatpacking district, Eugenie is certainly making the most of her time in the Big Apple.
The 24-year-old has become a regular on the city’s vibrant social scene, and was spotted at New York Fashion Week. She was snapped front row, looking as stylish as ever, at at the Fall 2014 Nonoo show.
She’s also been seen enjoying her very first basketball match, watching as the New York Nicks beat the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden.
