Conscious of her waiting car parked outside on double yellow lines, Kate quickly grabbed two pairs of trousers for herself and headed to the check out. The gracious royal queued behind other customers and paid for her purchases, totalling £126.44, by credit card.

Kate, who is a regular shopper at the clothing giant, left by a side entrance to meet her driver.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their young tot will begin their official tour on Monday 7 April in Wellington, New Zealand. The family will then move on to Australia on Wednesday 16 April and end their trip on Friday 25 April in Canberra.
