Prince Felipe's coronation: royal souvenirs go on sale

Excitement is building up as the days draw closer to Prince Felipe of Spain's coronation. The 46-year-old royal will be proclaimed king on Thursday, and in preparation, souvenirs and commemorative gifts have started to flood the shops. Members of the public will be able to mark the special day with items such as mugs, plates, key rings, T-shirts, and magnets. Shop windows have been adorned with the royal goodies, available for Spaniards and tourists alike who want to take something home in memory.

All sorts of products have been accounted for, with some bearing the faces of Prince Felipe and his elegant wife Princess Letizia, and others proudly printing the names of the future king and queen of Spain.
