The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will hold the bash inside their apartment along with close family members, friends, and the Prince's godparents, however Clarence House has denied claims the Queen will be considered the "guest of honour". Her Majesty’s husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, may be unable to make it due to other engagements according to the Telegraph newspaper, and he isn’t the only family member who will reportedly be absent.

George's grandparents Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are thought to be skipping the party as they are in Scotland on annual leave.

Details of the palace bash came after speculation Kate's mother Carole Middleton hosted a Peter Rabbit-themed party for the family on Friday at their home outside Bucklebury in Berkshire.

It's been reported his gifts at the youngster's party will include a wooden train set from his parents and a cake from his Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo.

George melted hearts when he was pictured at his latest photoshoot, which took place at the Sensational Butterflies exhibit in London's Natural History Museum on 2 July.

With his hands outstretched and a sweet smile on his face, George couldn't have looked cuter in his navy T-shirt and striped pair of dungarees from French children's clothing label Petit Bateau. Priced at £27.65 on the brand's website, the dungarees immediately sold out when the picture of George was released on Saturday evening.
