Princess Marie of Denmark paid tribute to her husband Prince Joachim in a recent interview, calling him her "soulmate".
Speaking to Costume magazine, the France-born princess spoke candidly about her family life, saying that her husband of six years makes her laugh all the time and that they are still as in love as the day they met.
Describing her day-to-day life, Marie, who took the title of the Countess of Monpezat upon her marriage to Joachim, said that the first thing she does in the morning is kiss her children.

The royal, who added she is most comfortable dressed down in a T-shirt and jeans, revealed that she is often able to walk down the street without being recognised.

According to 38-year-old Marie, all she needs to do is go out without any make-up on, dressed casually and wearing her hair down to go unnoticed by the public.

Marie went on to say that her young daughter Princess Athena also brings a lot of joy into her life, particularly as she has recently started trying to imitate what her mother says.
The couple are also parents to five-year-old Prince Henrik
Princess Marie tied the knot with Joachim, who is sixth-in-line to the Danish throne, in 2008 and the couple have a five-year-old Prince Henrik and two-year-old Athena together.
Prince Joachim also has sons Prince Nikolai, 15, and Prince Felix, 12, from his ten-year marraige to Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg which ended in 2005.
