Princess Eugenie has spoken of her pride in mother Sarah Ferguson after she hit the catwalk last week. The 55-year-old won praise from her youngest daughter after she strutted her stuff at Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief show, on the eve of London Fashion Week. "I'm so proud of my mum for walking in Naomi’s show," Eugenie told the Daily Mail. "She looked great, and it was for such a good cause. "I hope I look that good when I'm her age," she added.

The 24-year-old Princess was unable to see her mum's fashion moment in person, however, because she was spending the evening with her father Prince Andrew. "I wasn't there myself," she said. "Because I was out having dinner with my dad." Sarah joined stars including Pixie Lott, Katie Piper, Caroline Flack, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon on the catwalk last Thursday, as they helped raise money for victims of Ebola. Since Naomi launched the annual campaign in 2005 to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina, Fashion for Relief has raised millions for various causes around the world.

This year, dresses for the show were donated from fashion houses including Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Marchesa and Versace. Sarah, who was married to Prince Charles's brother Andrew from 1986 to 1996, wowed the packed room of style watchers in a figure-hugging floor-length black gown and a glittering statement necklace. The mother-of-two, who spoke exclusively to HELLO! magazine about undertaking a "life changing" weight loss programme in March 2014, beamed with confidence as she walked down the runway.

"I used to be so angry," she said of her frustration at not being the size she wanted to be. "I believed I was never going to lose the weight, that I had lost control. I couldn't fit into any of my clothes. I was just drowning in eating, drowning in food. "It took courage to go out in public in all the years I have been overweight," she added. "Every time there was a 'Duchess of Pork' or 'Fat Frumpy Fergie' headline, they didn't have any idea they were reaching to the depths of my soul,"
