Crown Princess Mary and Princess Marie both headed out for family days with their little ones last week. The royal mums were completely in sync when it came to choosing fun activities for their children, opting for outings that saw their little princes and princesses interact with a number of animals.Crown Princess Mary stepped out with three of her four children; Princess Isabella, who will celebrate her eighth birthday on 21 April, and four-year-old twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. They were photographed together making the most of the sunny weather at a farm in Kirke Hyllinge on Sunday, ahead of Earth Day on 22 April.

During their informal visit, the royals got to meet a number of farm animals, including a little calf, which Princess Josephine seemed particularly taken with. Mary, 43, and her children happily petted the young animal together, and later posed for a family photo in a cow shed.Just one day earlier, Mary's sister-in-law Princess Marie enjoyed an outing with her two children, Prince Henrik, five, and three-year-old Princess Athena, and her husband Prince Joachim. They spent the day together at Aalborg Zoo, making the most of some family time together.Marie and Joachim rode on the zoo's train with their children, and observed a number of animals in their enclosures before it was their turn to get up close and personal with one of Aalborg's smaller residents. To the delight of his wife, children and onlookers, Joachim held a small rodent in his hands during their visit to the zoo, laughing as the creature attempted to scamper up his outstretched arms.
